Bernalillo Sheriff's Posse     Albuquerque, NM

The Bernalillo Sheriff's Posse Arena is on 2nd St in North west Albuquerque.  Unfortunately they have limited pens; the best option for those exhibitors that are planning to overnight is going to be Expo New Mexico, in Albuquerque.  They are always open for overnighters.  There is no need to call and reserve space in advance just enter through gate on San Pedro (gate 3 or 4); stall rates are approximately $20 per night.

Jack Pot classes for the June Show will be All Breed Trail and All Breed Walk Trot!  Pay back schedule to be announced.

July 26th & 27th

A really nice facility; plenty of stalls, parking, warm up. 

Jack Pot Classes will be Paint Western Pleasure, Paint Trail, All Breed Trail and Paint Halter Geldings.

NEW APHA RULE FOR 2008

Beginning with the 2008 show season all exhibitors must be current APHA members.  Please see the APHA page on this web site for complete information or go to www.apha.com.

For your convenience we have included the premiums for all 2008 shows on this page.  The April, June and July show premiums are all the same; the May show will not have the full schedule of classes so that one is a different.  To open the file simply click on the link; then print.  If you have any problems opening these files please contact me at sbragg41@att.net.

Jack Pot Classes Pay Back and Rules

The Jack Pot Classes that are scheduled for the June and July Shows will be run within the designated class during the show schedule.  To enter a Jack Pot Class you must pay an additional $10 per class.  In other words you will pay your regular class fees plus $10.  There will be no gate entries and you must enter the class at least 3 classes before the Jack Pot class.  The pay out schedule is as follows:

5 or less entries

       1st place gets 100%

6-10 entries

       1st place gets 60% 2nd gets 40%

11 or more

       1st place gets 60%

       2nd place gets 30%

       3rd place gets 10%

Since both shows are double judged one judge will be drawn to judge the jack pot classes. 

It should be lots of fun! 

Food Concession for June Show!

Chef's Elegant Catering will be our food concession for the June Show.  There menu will include breakfast burritos, muffins for the morning and burgers, chicken sandwiches, Fruit bowls and green salads for lunch.  they will also have soft drinks and water for sale.
